Moments to Remember was developed as a simple way to look back on our week as homeschoolers and find photos that encompass the memories we want to remember. The week may have been tough, there may have been more bumps than smiles, but in the end these are the moments that keep us going, the ones we need to remember.
These past two weeks have been very slow going in the school/learning department. Although, I say slow but in reality ‘slow’ to me means that we still do work, but it’s just not full fledge! We are slowly getting through the end of our Egypt study (can’t wait to post about that!), we did some handwriting, math and lots of crafts this week! We have taken a break from our intensive spelling and reading program, but the children have been writing letters, doing lapbooking and the french with Rosetta Stone. So even though our days may be less structured, we still do achieve lots during the day!
We have been loving doing our crafts and baking! This week we finished our Salt Dough Ornaments (thanks Tinkerlab!) Here are some photos collected over the few days we took to complete. And the post that Rachelle did over at Tinkerlab helped out a lot, since she very willingly shared her mistakes so we could all learn from them!
